Nova listened to the stranger, bothered by the possible encounter with the villagers who might impede them. She had noticed the fatigue that weighed heavily upon her company and understood the mayor with their decision in some degree, but this was her decision. Just as they were guides to ease the suffering of the long-deceased, this stranger was too a guide for her. It was the very least she could do after the rediscovery of her innate ability. "If the people have anything to say to you, they can say to me as well. Beside, this is about the spirits and our offerings to ease their pain. I don't think that counts as work." She huffed. The young woman knelt down and carefully gathered some Warm Dinnals in hand, a slight reminder that she had done this very exact thing when she was a child.[break][break]

With enough roses in hand, Nova gave one last look at the gravestone then moved to the edge of the grove, namely in the direction of Kakariko Village. Of course, she didn't entirely leave the place for the young woman dared not leave the stranger behind. They were in this together, in hopes to bring some semblance of peace to the dead and possibly themselves. Suddenly, a thought had occurred to her - they weren't properly introduced to one another. It was rather embarrassing to think about, especially when Nova had spoke lengths about her past to someone she hardly knew despite being raised in the same valley. So before they were to make way to Kakariko, Nova spoke up, keeping the roses close to her.[break][break]

"We've spoken so much about ourselves yet I know nothing of your name. For that, I am truly sorry. My name's Nova Arondale of Termina. Nice to meet you."

The young woman smiled, surprised that Vlad called her a kindred spirit. "I'm just doing what I feel is right." She humbled herself, though her words rang very true to herself. All her life, Nova poised herself as the wanderer, unchained from the earthly boundaries that separated the world from something beyond the veil. From there, she heard the whispers, the cries of anger and sorrow which melted her heart at the young age. But with time, this exposure tempered the girl into something she couldn't entirely describe. The moral compass within her stayed true as compassion and longing to bring peace. Perhaps she was a kindred soul as Vlad mentioned and hear it aloud was just as a relief for Nova just as much for Vlad.[break][break]

However, there was one thing her companion had said. Of the Ikana clan. The young woman was uncertain of his meaning, for as far as her memory allowed, there wasn't any living groups within the valley. Perhaps Vlad had come from the line of royalty to the once shining kingdom of Ikana or the ghostly specters simply known the Garo. No. That did not seem likely for their blood feud stuck with them even in death, thus trapped within the valley in perpetual war. Vlad would not be here with her if that were the case. Though, she would ponder no longer on his meaning and kept silent on the subject. Dwelling in the past of Ikana for too long would often bring up pain and misery - a strange curse.[break][break]

It wasn't long until the sign came into view. Although it was too dark, Nova suspected the large sign read Kakariko Village. This must had been the main path into the community, but unaccustomed to Eldin had made it difficult to see. There were a few lights seen from windows but the distance between them were great and sparse. Death Mountain towered over the village, its pluming smoke rose high into the night sky with crimson streams trickling down the mountain. Even at night, Death Mountain shimmered like a mirage, due the heat that rose from the ground. "Looks like we're here, but I don't see anyone... although, my eyes are hindered by the shadows coming off the cliffs." She said, half-steeped in whisper but enough for Vlad to hear. "Has time really moved forward to be this late?"

Nova simply shook her head in response, seemingly unbothered by the chill in the air. "No. I should be fine if I follow you." She quipped, the flowers still in hand and surprisingly warm to the touch. She guessed that was the reason why they were called Warm Dinnals, for they not only guided souls like a lantern but also gave off a strange warmth. She glanced up the canyon walls, where the light found its mark and shown its dark brown hue. Some of that light even found itself casted upon the a few buildings, which revealed their shabby appearances. It almost appeared to be a ghost town, similar to Ikana but filled with life as Vlad had mentioned. However, it looked so different at night compared to the day when her last job brought her here.[break][break]

"I now realize the village is a lot like home but with more houses and people. It's as though Hyrule is the mirror by design, but its reflection more pleasant than Termina. Such a strange world we live in." The sellsword thought aloud, taking the first place past the threshold where the sign hung. "We should continue on before we wake someone. Please, lead the way, Vladimir." Her smile was still be to seen even in that darkness.
