Lady Arkwright was a woman of lively speech and ladylike fashion, yet wise in her counsel and filled with bold ambition. She still prefers to be prepared for the worst-case scenarios yet only carries little to get in the way of her natural movements. One may not find her glib of tongue and is a vehement hater of lies. When faced with a contentious situation, she leaned toward a brassy disposition and stands firm on her values.

Though, these days, she may use intimidation to get her way.

That aside, Phoebe is much more relaxed with friends and displays an incredible passion for her research. In her moments of inspiration, she often loses track of herself and focuses entirely on the topic that incites her.

Given her intellect, Phoebe finds pride in her vast knowledge, which she, most times, finds irrefutable. She is more inclined to believe factual evidence than a theoretical answer and is much more headstrong and stubborn about her opinion.

On the topic of her subject matter, the researcher is fluent in knowledge regarding common and uncommon beasts. However, her biggest goal is to study what she considers "the king of monsters," the fabled dragons, as they are scarcely documented in the athenaeum of her council.

With the sorrows of the Goron Mines behind her, Phoebe is back in action with as much pep and verve as she did. As of late, she has been sensing strange changes to her body, none of which promise her any peace.


The Monster Research Council (known as the MRC) is an intellectual group of Hyrule's elite researchers specializing in the various monsters and creatures that inhabit the known world's lands, rivers, and seas. Many within the council are eccentrics and enthusiasts and often look like the creatures they steadfastly research.

However, it is a given that the council is made chiefly of elders. As such, they rely on the military, mercenary, and adventurers alike to do their field research for them. For a time, the MRC's hope for new findings was dashed by failures, drop-outs, and other disappointments.

Enter Phoebe Arkwright, a blossoming youth who won the hearts of the council by her talents, charisma, and willingness to explore new ground. Those of the committee were naturally apprehensive about sending one of such demeanor into the maws of their research. Still, she had proven to them by a trial of fire that she may overcome many an adversity.

Two years have passed since her trying initiation, and she has served the MRC well. Yet, she remains unfulfilled, for she has yet to see what she has set as the apex of monsters...

Regarding Phoebe's upbringing, she is the adoptive daughter of the late Baron Arkwright. She had a shipbuilding enterprise off of the Hyrulean coast. She experienced many trials and tribulations that many would shirk from, although many were not by choice.
