Braedynne smiled shyly again at the offer of staying. It was.. nice, but at the same time, not expected, and she had tried several times to just, politely refuse it. Though perhaps, she didn't seem to be firm enough in that position.. and perhaps, Braedynne wasn't of the mind where she would continue to flat out refuse the hospitality, though she didn't want to be taking advantage of these nice people. For now, she continued to sit there, near the hearth snugly, and she sipped some tea; perhaps, a time to kick off her boots may come later.
"Well I don't want to impose.. but please let me know if there's anything I can do to help around," Braedynne said.
Selene had sort of answered her questions. But this didn't solve who exactly this Mary was. Still, the offer of an escort was nice. "Oh, an escort? I mean.. I hope I don't need one. But it's a kind offer, nonetheless! Perhaps it wouldn't hurt.. if anything, to avoid getting lost, or accosted by someone."
Well, this was a tempting offer, anyway. Getting to ride a horse for a bit? It sure beat walking! But it was Josh's rather straightforward explanation which gave Braedynne pause. The Kokiri girl looked at her fairy, then back at her two hosts.
"A princess?" she asked, dumbfounded. "But.. what was she doing all alone in the woods? Isn't that.. dangerous?" Well of course it was, considering the trouble Braedynne had ran into earlier, plus the risk of running into monsters she already knew about.
Braedynne had vaguely heard stories of the other civilizations outside the forest. She didn't really know how it all worked, for instance, security and royal guards, but someone who sounded that important sure would seem foolish to be wandering the woods all by themselves, so far from home...
"She did seem quite capable of defending herself," Edelweiss interjected. "However, we may be prying into personal or official matters asking what she was doing."
"Oh, I see. Still, I guess that explains a lot. It's.. It's probably no wonder she couldn't stay. I feel so bad getting mad at her now..."
