“Excuse me?” No offense in his tone, only confusion. By twist of paths, he had managed to make it this long without crossing paths with the keaton. How ironic that it would be this way.

Desmond followed the keaton a few paces behind... Revyn was right; their goal had not been to kill. Not now. If his guess was right, then perhaps it was their goal to return this orb to the spring of legend. And while Oron made fine work of the darkness embodied behind them, the blond sought to keep his ears out for any that may come from the woodwork.

Speaking of, it seemed the prince would join them in a few minutes' time. “Good work.” The journey… Desmond knew Ordon, somewhat. The territory had been something he often associated with his brother. While he knew the paths, he knew little of the winding roots of the woods. He trusted Revyn to lead them, trying to memorize the area as they went.

He didn't seem to pick it up, but no matter. For now, Revyn was content to leave it at that; after all, things would be a lot clearer given a bit more time, and even he wasn't inclined to completely detract from what they had to do for now.

"By all accounts, then, we should mostly be clear, from how it seems. At least, until we have to make it back out of this place," the Keaton suggested. A bit further along... while it hadn't necessarily been close, the pace they took covered the distance in short order regardless. Off to the spring in question, which seemed peaceful... enough. If rather, well dreary; far more so than Revyn recalled, certainly.

"To which end, I should dare say... be prepared to catch the attention of a few pests and run, at least enough to lead them away from here, after I drop this away. I should dare say all the noise has attracted a few more," he suggested, moving along to at least work on dropping the orb into the spring. After that, he supposed... perhaps one more favor from one of the Goddesses, were the need to arise when the sounds he'd barely picked up on actually caught up.

Oron chuckled... At least the best he could when he was in an animalistic form. "It was nothing... At least it appears we have a bit of a breather for now..." Well, besides the nice claws that hit him in a few spots... Oron needed a moment to ease his mind as well. It had taken a moment, but the strange trio eventually reached the Spring that Revyn spoke of. It appeared almost tranquil... The best it could when being corrupted by the Twilight anyways.

Oron tilted his head and tried to listen out for any semblance of noise. Were there more Shadow Beasts coming for them? Revyn certainly seemed to suggest something was coming for them... Revyn would then drop the Light Orb into the spring. So, this was where they had to take it after finding it...? Oron looked around and braced himself for whatever was about to arrive. It seemed it was time to distract some monstrosities... Again. Oron wondered what was about to happen with the Orb as it fell into the spring, though... Hopefully something favorable was about to happen. Hyrule needed more good tidings right now. Things have been going somewhat well so far this year after all...

“Understood.”

No doubt the shadow beasts would do whatever they could to get the tear back so long as they held it. Until it was safely in the depths, the steady thump of his heart felt strong against his skin. The wind combed through his fur even as they skidded to a stop in front of the waters.

Crystal clear glass dropped into water - it almost looked like it dissolved. Splashes of water reaching up to embrace the glowing orb and pull it down. The only sign of shape being the glow it held. And like pouring wine into water, it spread across the waters; its light shining brightly despite the dark.

The stable hand was so enamored by the sight he almost failed to notice the glowing match. Against the fur of his paw shimmered a hue of similar blue. Lights tracing against strands, tracing along like veins until they met to meet a single solid shape: a triangle of Hylian blue against golden fur.

A triforce of courage.

“Son of a bitch.”

Of all the thoughts that skittered through his mind at the moment, it had been the only one that finally fell from his tongue. The paw marked raised to shake it off as if it were a bee on an image. This had to be a mistake. Right? A trick of the light or perhaps a spell that was messing with his head? A bizarre dream? No, he would never have dreamed of something like this…

His paw reached to wipe the other, then his eye. Nope. It shone still against his furs, the lines almost smiling up at him. He did not smile back.

“...Is it too late to drown myself in the spring?”

Three, then. That made three, thus far, that he was present for.

And he'd come to this land originally intent to not get involved, of all things...

"Not allowed, I am afraid," Revyn replied with a slight smirk... though he couldn't say he didn't understand the impulse. To be some agent of the Goddesses, some hero, was at least a little distasteful to one such as him who had spent the past several ages as little more than an observer, but yet here he was with a similar mark upon his tail, difficult though it could be to properly see. "After all, there is a young lady that would be rather displeased with me were I to have allowed that to happen," he added with a little chuckle. That particular implication... well, who knew. Little doubt there might be a few options that sprung to mind, from the Queen herself, to Selene Merrows, to his younger sister Ophelia... well, the boy was free to wonder for now. He'd certainly find out before long.

"Come along, then; back toward the castle for us after another minor skirmish, though I make no promises, necessarily, that you two will go back to yourselves quite so soon."
