Combat
Just as it is one of the main aspects of "The Legend Of Zelda", combat is something we strive to keep fun here in Land Of Twilight. The default style of combat on Land Of Twilight is completely freeform and may vary according to what is agreed upon by the writers involved. In the case that two writers cannot agree to a winner or a draw, a staff member may be asked to review the app and decide a winner. If there is a problem with the staff member's ruling, then a second opinion from another staff member can be asked for.
There are no limits to the amount of weapons and items you can have on your character at a time, but try to be reasonable. While certain items can be bought on the site with Rupees, we won't charge for weapons or utility items outside of the Shop. Some items may not useable at all for lore or balancing reasons, but feel free to consult Staff if you don't know for sure.
magic
Just like the basic combat, magic is also handled in freeform. In this version of Hyrule, Magic as an entity that can be used by the common person if they hold natural ability or are educated in its use. When you first create your character, you choose between several different schools of magic that dictate the kinds of spells your character would optimally use, with one being chosen per character. These schools of magic are named after different known deities (
Din,
Farore,
Nayru,
Hylia and
Demise), though that does not necessarily mean your character has to worship or take the trait of said deity. Check the Shop section for more information on Schools of Magic.
