A realm where the sky is always black as night, dark particles rain from above, and corrupted monsters roam. Long ago, would-be conquerors of the Sacred Realm were banished to this world through the Mirror of Twilight. Their descendants have since evolved in order to adapt to their surroundings, and have sculpted a land of their own here. The layout of the land in which the Twili have made their kingdom deeply resembles that of Hyrule, and some locations may be familiar to visitors.

Through either the Mirror of Twilight or the small rifts that have been scattered around Hyrule, outsiders may enter this realm. But non-Twili who find themselves here will often find themselves transformed into spirits, vulnerable to the dark creatures that infest the Realm. Some whom possess a specific essence will instead transform into beasts.

Located in the area of the Twilight Realm where Hyrule Castle would be in the Light World. The Palace of Twilight is the seat of the Twili Royal Family's power, and houses several shrines holding Sols. These magical orbs project the only light that can be seen in the Twilight Realm, making it one of the few places that the realm's monsters will stay away from.
