The Ordon Province hosts lush farmlands and sparse forests. The forests here aren't as dense or thick as those you'll venture through in Faron. Much of Ordon is inhabited and kept peaceful by Hylians, though the occassional woodland creature can be found if you search hard enough.

Ordon is a village filled to the brim with life. Farmland stretches far and wide, as many farms and ranches have been established within Ordon's growing borders in the Ordon Woods. These surround the central area which is rife with shops, acting as the primary source of supplies for the village. Here, one can find everything from hunting, fishing and adventuring supplies, to locally made crops and dishes. The different areas are separated by bridges that overlook a river running throughout the entire village. Ordon is run by its Mayor, who presides over the village and does their best to do what is best for Ordon. It can be difficult to balance the economy with so many varying trades in a way that makes everyone happy, but Ordon has always bred hard workers and the elected village mayor will need to be the hardest worker of them all. The mayor is chosen by the villagers as a collective, and can be replaced if need be.

With Ordon's close proximity to the Ordon and Faron Woods, the risk of Ordon being attacked by monsters is quite high. With Sir Josh Dragelion serving as their Outpost Captain, Ordon's security force is their last line of defense against any threats that may come from within the woods. While those sent to protect it are not often elite soldiers, their Captain has made it his mission to train them into some of the finest soldiers that Hyrule has ever seen. Strict but fair, he encourages them to get to know Ordon's residents and treat the village like home. As a result, those who pledge to protect Ordon do so with all their heart.



Ordon is a popular destination for fishing gurus due to the presence of a large lake whose waters fuel the rivers that run through the village. The lake is vast, and is a regular gathering spot for fish. The Ordon Catfish can only be found in Ordon, and is sought after by some as a delicacy. Its eel-like swimming patterns and slippery bodies can make it difficult to catch though.



A ranch that both grows crops and raises livestock. Founded by Josh Dragelion, a local hero for Ordon. This has made Dragelion Ranch a popular tourist attraction, though one needs express permission to actually tour around. The typical assortment of Ordon livestock can be found here, overseen by the massive dog that guards the property. After Dragelion became King of Hyrule, it has been tended to by his brother.
